fars package are created as part of the Coursera Online Course Building R Packages. This package contains functions that can be used to analyze the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Fatality Analysis Reporting System, which is a nationwide census providing the American public yearly data regarding fatal injuries suffered in motor vehicle traffic crashes.
fars package include helper functions to read data based on specific years, and to analyze and plot the data. To start analysing the fars data, download the data in the local directory, and start analysing the data with function call, eg .fars_summarize_years(2016)
