This package contains information on degrees and certificates awarded at postsecondary institutions from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. In addition to total degrees, the data contains columns for the classification of instructional program, award level, race/ethnicity, and gender.

This data was downloaded from the IPEDS Data Center, thus, the package contains completion data (i.e., degrees and certificates) for every school that reports to IPEDS. Every school that receives Title IV funding from the United States (U.S.). Department of Education is required to report to IPEDS, so the current package contains aggregated data for virtually every postsecondary institution in each U.S. state and as well as other U.S. jurisdictions.
