Description
Full baby name data (1964–2023) for Ireland, provided by the Central Statistics Office.
Due to confidentiality reasons, only names with 3 or more instances in the relevant year are included.

A data frame with 78,897 observations on seven variables: year, sex, name, n, rank, prop, prop_sex.

Count of name within year and sex

Rank of name within year and sex

Proportion of name within year
- prop_sex

Details
The data are released by the Central Statistics Office.
