Description

Population output of WPP2019, including all populations. This dataset is temporary, for convenience in DemoTools and fertestr and it may be deprecated when better estimates become available. This data has been interpolated to a 1x1 Lexis grid. Years have July 1 reference dates. Total population by age can be calculated as the sum of male and female populations.

A data.frame with 7 columns and 1706698 rows

• LocID character. UN location codes numeric, but stored as character.

• Year integer Mid year.

• AgeStart integer lower bound of the single age interval.

• AgeSpan integer age interval width.

• PopMale double. Male poplation.

• PopFemale double. Female poplation.
