Utility to simulate quantitative proteomics data. Note, the simulations will be as realistic - as realistic the input parameters. Inference of parameters for a number of distributions describing quantitative proteomics data is in the plans. The set of current controling distributions allows to control for 1) sample bias (e.g. due to pipetting error), 2) missing values, 3) number of peptides per protein, 4) outlying samples, 5) outlying peptide identifications, 6) outlying measurements and 7) sample group effects.
