wfmackey/absmaps: Download and Use Maps Data from the Australia Bureau of Statistics
Download, convert and compress (as desired) spatial data from the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS). The spatial data can then be loaded as an easy-to-use 'sf' object and combined with information and mapped using the 'tidyverse' set of packages. This package downloads shapefile data from a number of <https://www.abs.gov.au> catalogues.
