In willgearty/deeptime: Plotting Tools for Anyone Working in Deep Time

This patch version addresses a CRAN check error that Prof Brian Ripley brought to my attention and some other bugs that I discovered upon releasing version 1.1.0.

Test environments (with Github Actions)

• Windows 10.0.20348 (x86_64-w64-mingw32): R 4.3.3
• Mac OS X 12.7.3 (x86_64-apple-darwin20.0): R 4.3.3

• Ubuntu 22.04.4 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu): R 4.2.3, 4.3.3, and devel (r86048)

• All checks were run separately with ggplot2 3.4.0 and 3.5.0

R CMD check results

There were no ERRORs, WARNINGs, or NOTEs.

Downstream dependencies

Checked 3 reverse dependencies, comparing R CMD check results across CRAN and dev versions of this package:

• RevGadgets (1.2.1)
• EvoPhylo (0.3.2)
• rphylopic (1.3.0)
