Adding ggplot2 Functionality

• ggthemes — Some extra geoms, scales, and themes for ggplot
• hrbrthemes — Additional Themes and Theme Components for ggplot
• ggplot2 Extensions Gallery — Gallery of add-on packages to extend the functionality of ggplot
• Rokeman — An R package to create Pokemon inspired ggplots. It also comes with dataset of 801 Pokemon with 41 different features (Gotta analyze'em all!).

R Packages and Functions for Mapping

• ggmap — ggmap makes it easy to retrieve raster map tiles from popular online mapping services like Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Stamen Maps, and plot them using the ggplot2 framework.
• Leaflet for R — Leaflet is one of the most popular open-source JavaScript libraries for interactive maps. It’s used by websites ranging from The New York Times and The Washington Post to GitHub and Flickr, as well as GIS specialists like OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, and CartoDB.
• ggplot2 Map Theme — Two good backgrounds and themes for maps.

• Tufte Style — Tufte styles for R Markdown documents. See an example at http://rstudio.github.io/tufte/
• rticles — The rticles package provides a suite of custom R Markdown LaTeX formats and templates for various formats.
• xaringan slides — Porting the JavaScript library remark.js for slideshows into R.
• bookdown — A open-source (GPL-3) R package to facilitate writing books and long-form articles/reports with R Markdown.
