| release_json_memory | R Documentation |
To parse faster, fparse() and fload() keep some memory between calls: a buffer
holding a copy of the input (as large as the largest document parsed, and released after a
call when larger than 64 MiB), and a small cache of short strings. release_json_memory()
frees this memory now. It is allocated again as needed, so it is always safe to call.
release_json_memory()
The number of bytes freed, invisibly.
x <- fparse('{"a": [1, 2, 3]}')
