Known defects

Population, males and females partition exactly into rural and urban. The SC/ST columns do not: one sc_population row and five st_population rows fail rural + urban == total, the largest gaps being 493,272 (Hooghly, SC) and 472,910 (Jhabua, ST). District coverage is also short of the state total for Mysore and Tamil Nadu.
