Constructive options for class 'fs_perms'

Description

These options will be used on objects of class 'fs_perms'.

Usage

opts_fs_perms(constructor = c("as_fs_perms", "next"), ...)

Arguments

constructor	String. Name of the function used to construct the object, see Details section.
...	Additional options used by user defined constructors through the opts object

Details

Depending on constructor, we construct the object as follows:

• "as_fs_perms" (default): Build the object using fs::as_fs_perms() on octal strings such as "644". Vectors of length other than 1 or 2 are first converted with as.octmode(), because fs::as_fs_perms() scrambles the order of longer character vectors.

• "next" : Use the constructor for the next supported class. Call .class2() on the object to see in which order the methods will be tried.

Objects containing NA or negative values are always constructed with the "next" constructor.
