Finds the absolute value of the highest value in the
landscape (maximum peak height; Sph) for a raster or matrix
representing a surface.
Usage

A raster or matrix.
Value
A numeric value of maximum peak height.
Examples

data(normforest)
normforest <- terra::unwrap(normforest)
# find the maximum peak height
