Calculate heat index (apparent temperature)
Description
US National Weather Service heat index: Steadman's simple formula, replaced
by the Rothfusz (1990) regression with its low- and high-humidity
adjustments once the simple value averaged with temperature reaches 80F.
Usage
heat_index(temp_c, rh)
Arguments
temp_c
Air temperature in Celsius
rh
Relative humidity as a percentage (0-100)
Value
Heat index in Celsius
