Categorical variable indicating the student's family's income from all sources in 2008. The data in this file were collected by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) for the High School Longitudinal Study of 2009. Full data files and codebooks can be downloaded from https://nces.ed.gov/OnlineCodebook. Data were cleaned to exclude students with missing data and students who did not attend a four-year college.
