Format
The dataframe with 13 variables and 97 entries contains meta-data for
a couple of predefined MODIS products.
productthe
MODIS-product name as defined by NASA
newest_versionthe
newest version for the respective product
temporal_granularitythe number of days between two
data-files
pixel_sizethe spatial resolution, i.e. the size
of one raster cell
sds_layer_namethe machine-readable name
of the layer
description_rawa human-readable description of
the layer
unitsthe unit in which the data are saved
data_typebit number which determines the length of the
values
fillthe fill value
valid_minthe
minimum valid value
valid_maxthe maximum valid value
scaling_factora correction factor
- start_terra
the
launch date for the Terra satellite
- start_aqua
the launch date for
the Aqua satellite
