Self Starting Modified Platt Model

Description

A selfStart model for Platt's Photosynthesis-Irradiance curve without intercept.

Usage

SSPlatt0(I, alpha, beta, Pmax)

Arguments

I	The measured irradiance
alpha	initial slope of the light limited of the P-I curve
beta	the rate of photoinhibition
Pmax	light saturated photosynthetic rate

Details

This model is the model decribed by Platt (1980)

P = Pmax (1-\exp(-α*I/Pmax)) \exp(-β*I/Pmax)
