Food Security and Nutrition Household Survey Data - Processed

Description

A dataset containing household anthropometric and infant young child feeding practices data for children under-5 years of age. Has been processed by the healthyr functions.

Usage

Format

A data frame with 1284 rows and 197 variables:

hh_id: Unique household survey identifier.
date_dc: The date of data collection.
sex: Sex of the child
dob: Date of birth of the child, if known
age_months: Age in months of the child, from dat of birth or estimate from a local events calendar.
age_days: Age in days of the child, from the day of birth or estimate from age in months.
iycf_1: (Yes)/(No) if the child was ever breastfed
iycf_2: If the child was put to the breast after birth in (Less than 1 hour), (Between 1 and 23 hours), (More than 24 hours), (Never breastfed), or (Don't know)
iycf_3: (Yes)/(No) if the child was given anything OTHER than breastmilk in the first two days.
iycf_4: (Yes)/(No) if the child was breastfed yesterday during the day or night.
iycf_5: (Yes)/(No) if the child drank anything from a bottle with a nipple yesterday during the day or night
iycf_6a: (Yes)/(No) if the child consumed plain water yesterday during the day or night
iycf_6b: (Yes)/(No) if the child consumed any infant formula yesterday during the day or night
iycf_6b_num: Number of times consumed infant formula yesterday during the day or night.
iycf_6c: (Yes)/(No) if the child consumed any animal milk, tinned milk, or canned milk yesterday during the day or night

weight: Weight of the child in kilograms.
muac: Mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC) of the child in cm.
oedema: (Yes)/(No) if the child has bilateral pitting oedema.
is_the_child_enrolled_in_nutrition_programme_otp_tsfp: (Yes)/(No) if the child is enrolled in any nutrition program such as OTP or TSFP at the time of interview.
height: Length or Height of the childin cm.
enum: The survey team or enumerator ID.
state_admin1: The administrative level 1 name of the county where the survey took place.
county_admin2: The administrative level 2 name of the county where the survey took place.
residency_status: Residency status of the household as Resident, IDP, IDP Returnee, or Refugee Returnee.
cluster: The cluster id.
date_dc_date: Date of data collection, as a date type variable.
date_dc_month: Month of data collection.
date_dc_day: Day of the month of data collection.
date_dc_year: Year of data collection.
date_dc_char: Date of data collection, as a character type variable.
dob_date: Date of birth, as a date type variable.
