USCbiostats/pfamscanr: An R client for EMBL-EBI's PfamScan API
The EMBL-EBI's "PfamScan" API <doi:10.1093/nar/gkz268> is used to search a FASTA sequence against a library of Pfam HMM. This R client manages the connection with the API, in particular, posting the query, checking the status, and collecting the results.
