#' The EGM packages provides a subset of the EGM-generated data collected by the
#' author in the village of Rio Negro (2015-2016). All records have been
#' anonymised and all personally-identifying information removed. The package
#' also contains the functions needed to reproduce the results in Appendix A, as
#' well as other functions referenced in the text. Supplementary material for
#' paper 'Blood is thicker than bloodshed: a genealogical approach to
