This is the preprocessed root data, in long-form, i.e. pre-aggregation.
Usage

A data frame of 1825 rows and 9 columns.
- site
Either 'Adenostoma' or 'Grass'
- tube
MMR tube number, unitless
- tile
image tile from MMR, increases with depth, unitless
- root
root number within an image tile, unitless
- date
date that the image was taken
- length
length of the root, in mm
- diameter
diameter of the root, in mm
- real_depth
depth below ground of the observed root, in cm
- depth_bin
categorical depth, 0-9.99, 10-10.99, etc.
