Arguments
Y
Matrix of functional datasets. Should contain $ID
indicating the separate curves, $x the time points, and y the observations.
K
Total number of knots.
Details
x should be the predictor variable for the longest dataset in y.
Where there are observations in y the predictor variable should be the same as x.
Value
The knots based on differing endpoints.
