Methods to perform macroecological analyses with the fossil record. Actually, DeepTime allows users to perform MInOSSE, a model-based method to reconstruct species geographic ranges by simply relying on the spatial distribution of coeval fossil species as model predictors. This method is particulary useful when dealing with fossil species that lived during time periods for which no bioclimatic variables are available.
