Arguments
n
SxLxW array of population sizes over species and space
type
What scale of diversity ("alpha" or "gamma")
index
Which diversity index to use ("invSimp" for inverse Simpson's; "giniSimp" for gini-Simpson's)
Value
The calculated diversity
