meanAL computes the mean of an asymmetric Laplace with parameters
mu, sigma and tau.
varAL computes the variance of an asymmetric Laplace with parameters
sigma and tau.
invvarAL computes the scale parameter of an asymmetric Laplace with
parameter tau and variance x.
