Description

A dataset containing the background odds for trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) as a function of maternal age and gestational age. The data originate from Table 4 of Snijders et al. (1999).

A data frame with 18 rows and 7 variables:

Age

Maternal age in years

W10

Odds for T21 in the form $1:x$ at a gestational age of 10 weeks.

W12

Odds for T21 in the form $1:x$ at a gestational age of 12 weeks.

W14

Odds for T21 in the form $1:x$ at a gestational age of 14 weeks.

W16

Odds for T21 in the form $1:x$ at a gestational age of 16 weeks.

W20

Odds for T21 in the form $1:x$ at a gestational age of 20 weeks.

W40

Odds for T21 in the form $1:x$ at a gestational age of 40 weeks.
