Description
A 9659 x 9659 logical adjacency matrix indicating whether the
ibra7_albers polygon whose ID is given by ibra7_nbs the row
name is adjacent to ("touches", sensu GEOS) the polygon with ID given by the
column name. Row sums (or, equivalently, column sums) give the total number
of polygons that a given polygon touches. Note that the diagonal is
FALSE, i.e. polygons are not considered to touch themselves.

Details
This dataset was derived from the IBRA 7 regions polygon shapefile provided
by the Australian Government Department of the Environment. The original
(geodetic, GDA94) shapefile was disaggregated to convert multipart polygons
to single parts (using QGIS 2.10.1), after which the rgeos:gTouches
function was used to produce the adjacency matrix.
