The package creates a function called number, with can be used to convert precipitation data loaded onto the environment - helpd within the package into a format were all data is grouped into a list, with only key information. THe arguments for number are interger values form 1 to the total numbe rof files loaded onto the disc - with increasing values the funciton will take longer to complete, hence a print output is give user estimate of the time left ofr function to run
