This dataset contains results of 24 trials comparing four interventions to promote smoking cessation.

Format

A data frame with 50 observations on the following 5 variables.

study

Study ID.

treatment

A categorical variable that indicates the type of intervention (Group counselling, Individual counselling, No contact, Self help).

trt

A numerical variable that indicates the type of intervention, 1:No contact; 2:Self help; 3:Individual counselling; 4:Group counselling.

d

Number of successes of the intervention.

n

Number of participants of the intervention.
