Vocalization of the frog Physalaemus centralis

Description

Recording of a series of three stereotyped calls emitted by a male frog Physalaemus centralis (Amphibia, Anura, Leptodactylidae). Edited from original ".wav" file for optimal sinal to noise ratio and reduced time duration.

An object of the class "Wave" (tuneR package).

Details

Duration = 2.89 s. Sampling Frequency = 44100 Hz.

Recorded at Formoso do Araguaia Municipality, Tocantins State, Brazil, on 9 December 1992. Air temperature 25ºC.
