getAnnotations extracts the annotation slot from a protdata object.

getAnnotations(object)
Arguments
object
A protdata object of which the annotation slot needs to be extracted.
Value
A character matrix containing the annotations present in the protdata object. Rows correspond to accessions, while columns correspond to different annotations.
