In this repository, we provide R
scripts used to evaluate the data generated by experiments with the software framework developed for the book "An Introduction to Optimization Algorithms".
With the book, we try to develop a readable and accessible introduction in optimization, optimization algorithms, and, in particular, metaheuristics.
We therefore also provide implementations of the algorithms discussed within the book, again in a public repository.
We use these implementations to conduct a set of experiments, which we then evaluate by using the scripts in this repository.
Over the course of time, the code there has turned out to be feasible also for actual scientific experiments.
Hence, we now provide a general R
package for loading and processing the results generated by it.
