wfondrie/xCombR: Identifing crosslinked peptides with standard search engines.

The xComb strategy is a method to detect crosslinked peptides in shotgun proteomics data through the creation of a specialized fasta database. xcombr is a reimplementation of this strategy as an R package. xcombr creates linearized versions of crosslinked peptides that can be written to a fasta file. These can then be searched against using many traditional proteomics search engines.
