Census tract data for Cook County, IL for 2000

Format
A data frame with 1343 observations on the following variables:
AREAArea of the census tract in square miles
TRACTCensus tract number
POPULATIONTotal population
HHMEDINCMedian household income
FARAverage floor-area ratio for single-family residential homes
AGEAverage age of single-family residential homes
CHICAGOIndicates whether the tract is in Chicago.
Note that the "O'Hare" community area is not counted as part of Chicago when defining this variable.
CAREACommunity area name for tracts in Chicago
LONGITUDELongitude of the tract centroid
LATITUDELatitude of the tract centroid
DCBDDistance from the Chicago CBD, measured in miles
LNFARNatural log of FAR
LNDENSNatural Log of Dens
