In REDCapR: Interaction Between R and REDCap

simple Project

Steps to establish this project on a new server

1. Click the "New Project" button on the home screen (ie, it has green letters and a "+")
2. Name it "REDCapR: simple"
3. Designate the purpose as "Operational Support"
4. Upload project.xml
5. In the "Health" instrument, save each of the five records, so bmi is populated (ie, it's a calculated field)

6. In records 4 & 5, in the comments, add an extra line break after the first line if necessary. Sometimes consecutive line breaks are combined when the xml is imported.

7. Record 4 should look like

``` This record doesn't have a DAG assigned

So call up Trudy on the telephone
Send her a letter in the mail

```

1. Record 5 should look like

``` Had a hand for trouble and a eye for cash

He had a gold watch chain and a black mustache ```
