## `DistanceMatrix`

### Description

Compute a distance (dissimilarity) or similarity matrix between variables or cases.

### Usage

### Arguments

 `input.data` A `data.frame` with cases as rows and variables as columns. `compare` Whether `"Variables"` or `"Cases"` are to be compared. `case.labels` If `"compare"` is set to `"Cases"`, a list of labels for each case. If not supplied the indices are used. `variable.names` Whether to display variable names or labels. `binary` Whether to convert categorical variables to binary. `measure` Whether to measure `"Similarities"` or `"Dissimilarities"`. `similarity.measure` How to calculate similarities. Options are `"Correlation"` or `"Cosine"`. `distance.measure` The method for mesuring distances. Options are `"Euclidean"`, `"Squared Euclidean"`, `"Maximum"`, `"Manhattan"` and `"Minkowski"`. `minkowski` The power used by `"Minkowski"` `"distance.measure"`. `standardization` The method used to standardize the data. Options are `"None"`, `"z-scores"`, `"Range [-1,1]"`, `"Range [0,1]"`, `"Mean of 1"` and `"Standard deviation of 1"`. `standardize.by` Whether to perform `"standardization"` by `"Variable"` or by `"Case"`. `measure.transformation` How to transform the measure. Options are `"None"`, `"Absolute values"`, `"Reverse sign"`, and `"Range [0,1]"`. `show.cell.values` Whether to show cell values on heatmap output. Choices are `"Automatic"`, `"Yes"` and `"No"`. `show.row.labels` `"Yes"` or `"No"`. `show.column.labels` `"Yes"` or `"No"`. `subset` An optional vector specifying a subset of cases to be used. `weights` An optional vector of sampling weights.
