A function to evaluate the log-posterior of a spatial parametric proportional hazards model. Not intended for general use.

| gradient | logical whether to evaluate the gradient | 
| hessian | logical whether to evaluate the Hessian | 
evaluates the log-posterior and the gradient and hessian, if required.
