DALY Calculation Framework for WHO/FERG - 2015 revision

The FERG package provides functions for calculating and reporting DALYs in the framework of WHO's Foodborne Disease Burden Epidemiology Reference Group work towards the global burden of foodborne disease. The DALY calculation framework of the FERG package is based on the DALY package.

The functionalities of the FERG package are outlined in Methodological Framework for World Health Organization Estimates of the Global Burden of Foodborne Disease, published in PLOS ONE. All FERG estimates have been published as part of a dedicated PLOS Collection.

The FERG2015 package provides updated population data for the year 2015, based on the 2017 revision of the UN World Population Prospects.
