del: Delete Columns from a data.table

In kevinushey/data.table.extras: Add-on functions to augment the data.table package.

Description

This function deletes columns from a data.table through set. This modifies the object in-place, and hence you do not need to re-assign the result.

Usage

del(DT, ..., list = NULL)

Arguments

DT	A data.table object.
...	A set of (quoted or unquoted) variable names.
list	Optional: a list, or vector, of variable names from which to search DT for variables to delete.

Examples

str(DT)
del(DT, x)

del(DT, list=vars_to_remove)
