`directory`	Directory of DICOM files
`outfile`	Output RDS file to write. If it exists and `overwrite = FALSE`, then it will be read in and returned.
`overwrite`	Should the RDS file be overwritten if it exists
`remove_suffixes`	suffixes to be removed from `list.files` when trying to determine directories with DICOM
