#' @description\code{tpHall1996} is a 425x57 data frame containing the total phosphorus (TP) measurements and sedimentary diatom assemblage data for the 54 lake south-central Ontario calibration set from Hall and Smol (1996).

#' The purpose of this dataset is to facilitate reproducing the described diatom-inferred TP model for application to down-core diatom sedimentary assemblage data.
#' 
#' The \code{tpHall1996} data frame contains the following 57 columns:

#'   \item Column 2: Genus (of the diatom taxa)
#'   \item Column 3: Species (of the diatom taxa)
