A dataset containing the geographic indicators for U.S. states,
including the District of Columbia.
Usage
fips
Format
A dataframe with 51 rows and 5 variables:
- stname
State names, in lowercase
- stabb
State abbreviations
- stfips
FIPS code
- south_all
Southern states
- south_conf
Southern states (11 confederate)
- region
Region classification by Census Bureau
- division
Division classification by Census Bureau
