Discriminant Function Analysis for tracer pre-selection

Description

Performs stepwise forward variable selection using the Wilks Lambda criterion. Tracers are added one at a time when they improve inter-source discrimination beyond the specified significance threshold.

Usage

DFATest(data, niveau = 0.1, verbose = TRUE)

Arguments

data	Data frame in the standard OceanTracer format (sources + mixture).
niveau	Numeric. Significance level for the F-test at each step. Default 0.1.
verbose	Logical. Whether to print DFA selection summaries to the console. Default is TRUE.

Value

A list containing the retained data frame and the DFA model output.
