Description

Gives the minus REML function.

Usage

minusLikelihoodREML(param, param_names, tree, trait, Xdesign, model, rootTip)

Arguments

param	the parameters where to evaluate the function
param_names	the parameter names
Xdesign	the design matrix
model	a model for the trait evolution. One of "cauchy" or "lambda" (see Details).

Value

The value of minus the log-REML.
