Description
Number of captured individuals of species of nocturnal
macrolepidoptera (moths) in light traps at the Rothamsted Experimental
Station, UK between 1933 and 1936.

data(moths)
Format
A unnamed vector of 240 integers.
Details
This is one of the datasets that C. B. Williams used to show the
application of Fisher's log-series to describe the abundance of species
in a random sample of a biological community.
Source
Column I of table 3 of Fisher et al. (1943), which did not
provide species names.
