tips: Restaurant Tips

In tigerstats: R Functions for Elementary Statistics

Description

A waiter recorded all tips earned during a 2.5 month period in early 1990, along with other information about the customers who gave the tips. The variables are as follows:

• obs Observation number of event

• totbill The total bill

• tip Amount of the tip

• sex Sex of tipper (F or M)

• smoker Whether the tipper smokes: Yes or No

• day Day of the week

• time Whether the meal was during the Day or the Night

• size Number of people in the dining party

Format

A data frame with 244 rows and 8 variables
