Jones Matrix Representation of a Linear Polarizer Element

Description

jonesPol creates a Jones matrix linear polarizer element at specified orientation phi.

Usage

jonesPol(phi)

Arguments

phi

in-plane angle for the axis of the polarizer element.

Details

The Jones calculus provides a means to represent polarization of light with matrix and vector elements (Fowles 1989).

Value
