To provide help provide consistency with analyses using grofit, growthcurve includes convenience functions that allow models to be fitted to tidy growth data using grofit (if installed).

These functions include:

• fit_growth_grofit_parametric: fit a curve using several parametric models. The best model is chosen by AIC.

• fit_growth_grofit_logistic: fit a logistic function to the data

• fit_growth_grofit_gompertz: fit a Gompertz function to the data

• fit_growth_grofit_gompertz.exp: fit a modified Gompertz function to the data

• fit_growth_grofit_richards: fit a Richards growth function to the data

• fit_growth_grofit_spline: fit data using smoothed spline

Value

As with native growthcurve functions, these functions return a growthcurve object (also given the "grofit" class). These objects include an object of gcFitModel, which is the result returned by gcFitModel or gcFitSpline.
