klvoje/adePEM: Evaluate the adequacy of within-lineage phenotypic evolution models
The package contains functions to evaluate the adequacy of the models of phyletic evolution (stasis, random walk, directional trend) implemented the paleoTS package (Hunt 2006; 2008; 2015). Whether a particular model represents an adequate statistical description of a time series of phyletic change is evaluated using parametric bootstrap routines and summary statistics.
