Gets coordinates on an axis for possibly non real data

Description

Gets coordinates on an axis for possibly non real data

Usage

mapToRealLineWithSupport(X, support, d = 1)

Arguments

X

the data

support

a [Support] object giving the continuous, discrete or mixed support of the data.

d

the dimension of the space, that may be used

Value

the value(s) of 'X' mapped onto the 'support', i.e. possibly the same values of 'X' (i.e. if the support is a subset of the real line) or the indices corresponding to the atoms in the support equal to the values of 'X' (if the support is a discrete set of points or of categories).
