Accessing cases regardless how a dataset is stored.

Usage

nCases(X)

## Default S3 method:
nCases(X)

selectCases(X, I)

## Default S3 method:
selectCases(X, I)

Arguments

X	the dataset, may be a vector a matrix, a dataframe, or if implmenented something more advanced.
I	the Index vector indexing the cases

Value

returns the subset of cases.

Methods (by class)

• nCases(default): default method working for most know types of datasets, by using the first array dimension (if applicable) or the length as number of cases.

Functions

• selectCases(): selects the cases given by the index I

• selectCases(default): selects the cases given by the index I
